Removing a Manually Programmed Lock Code - Kwikset

Occasionally, during construction phase a lock may have a manually programmed code put in for access. To properly remove this code on a Kwikset lock, please utilize the following instructions:

1. With the door open press the Program button 1x

2. Press the Kwikset button 1x

3. Enter code to delete

4. Press the Kwikset button 1x

5. Re-enter code to delete

6. Press the Kwikset button 1x

7. Test that code does nothing

If successful - the keypad will flash green 1x, with 1 beep. 

If unsuccessful - the keypad will flash red 3 times with 3 beeps.
