How to Add, Edit, and Delete Amenities

Add, remove, and edit your community’s available amenities with ease through the LittleBird web portal.

Adding an Amenity

To add an amenity to your community:

  1. Log into the LittleBird Web Portal

  2. Click on the desired property (if applicable)

  3. Click Smart Community (building icon) in the navigation bar on the left side of the page

  4. Click Amenities in the Smart Community menu in the navigation bar

  5. Click Add Amenity in the top right-hand corner of the page

  6. Input the amenity’s name in the Name text field

  7. Add details about the amenity in the Description text field

  8. Add the amenity’s maximum occupancy in the Maximum Occupancy text field (optional)

  9. Input any restrictions or disclaimers for the amenity in the Terms of Use text field

  10. Click Next in the bottom right-hand corner of the page

  11. Use the Images section to upload pictures of the amenity 

  12. Click Next in the bottom right-hand corner of the page

  13. Use the Availability section to set when the amenity is available for guests

    • None: the amenity will not be available to residents

    • 24/7: The amenity will be available to residents every day at all hours

    • Daily: The amenity is available to residents every day during the hours you choose 

    • Custom: Allows you to finetune your amenity’s availability by choosing specific days of the week and specific hours of each day

  14. When you’ve set the amenity’s availability, click Next in the bottom right-hand corner of the page

  15. Use the Reservation Type section to set your amenity for reservations

    • Non-Reservable: The amenity will not require a reservation

    • Free: Reservations will be required for the amenity but at no cost to the resident

    • Paid: Reservations will be required, and the resident must pay for their time using the amenity (check out our How to Configure Amenity and Event Payment Settings article for instructions on setting up your Stripe account to receive payments)

  16. Once you’ve configured the amenity’s Reservation Type, click Save Amenity in the bottom right-hand corner of the page



Editing an Amenity

To edit an existing amenity:

  1. Log into the LittleBird Web Portal

  2. Click on the desired property (if applicable)

  3. Click Smart Community (building icon) in the navigation bar on the left side of the page

  4. Click Amenities in the Smart Community menu in the navigation bar

  5. Click the More Options (...) button next to the amenity you wish to edit

  6. Click Edit Amenity (pencil icon)

  7. Make desired changes in the Amenity DetailsImages, Availability, and/or Reservation Type tabs

  8. Click Save Amenity at the bottom of the page to save the changes



Removing an Amenity

To delete an amenity:

  1. Log into the LittleBird Web Portal

  2. Click on the desired property (if applicable)

  3. Click Smart Community (building icon) in the navigation bar on the left side of the page

  4. Click Amenities in the Smart Community menu in the navigation bar

  5. Click the More Options (...) button next to the amenity you wish to delete

  6. Click Delete Amenity (trashcan icon)

  7. Click Yes, delete amenity in the pop-up window to confirm the deletion
