Moderating community discussion is made easy with the LittleBird web portal.

Locate the discussion board

  1. Log into the Littlebird web portal on your designated desktop device.

  2. Browse to the Smart Community (building) icon in the navigation column.

  3. Click the Expand (v) icon to reveal the Discussion item within the dropdown menu.

  4. Click the Discussion item to open the Discussion Board page. This page contains every posting made by a resident of your property. These posts are  listed by the Headline, Type, Author, and Posted Date

If you are searching for a specific post, you can use the Filter by Type option to narrow down postings based on their type: EventFor SaleRecommendation, and General.

Create a discussion post

  1. Click the Add Post button on the discussion board to open the new post form field.

  2. Use the Select Post Type dropdown menu to select the appropriate category for your post from the available option:  General, For SaleEvent, or Recommendation.

    1. If you would like to make a general post, click the General option.

  5. If you would like to include a website link with your post, place this information In the Link section. This text box can be left blank if desired.

  6. Click the Submit button to complete your post and make it public on the discussion board. If you no longer wish to make a post, click the Back (arrow) option.

Remove a discussion post

  1. Locate the post you wish to remove in the Discussion Board page. If you are looking to delete a comment, rather than an entire post, you’ll first need to locate the main post it’s attached to.

Once you’ve located the post, click its Headline to open its details page. On this page you’ll be able to see all aspects of the post along with any comments made.

  1. If you wish to delete the entire posting, click the Remove (trash can) icon found inside of the post details.

    1. Click the Yes button. The post will be immediately removed and will be visible only to you on the discussion board page as DELETED under the post date section.

    2. You can also click the Ban button to prevent the writer of the post from creating any further discussion posts.

  2. If you wish to delete a comment within a post, browse to the Comments section of the post’s details page and locate the comment you intend to remove.

    1. Click the Remove (trash can) icon found inside of the comment’s panel.

    2. Click the Yes button. The comment will turn red and be immediately removed from the posting.
